Let's open the doors of memory TOGETHER!

On the occasion of 100 years since the first celebration of the Day of People's Revivalists and 160 years since the birth of the donor, public figure and revivalist Dimitar Kudoglu, the team of OI "Ancient Plovdiv" created the "Doors of Charity" project, which is implemented in partnership with the Municipality of Plovdiv - District "Central", Academy of Music, Dance and Visual Arts "Prof. Asen Diamandiev" - Plovdiv, Drama Theater "N. O. Masalitinov" - Plovdiv, Directorate "Regional State Archive" - ​​Plovdiv, Consortium "Art and Education", National Library "Ivan Vazov" - Plovdiv, Medical University - Plovdiv.

For the first time, the authentic doors from the legendary "House of Charity and Public Health" will be publicly exhibited, accompanied by a documentary exhibition with authors Dr. Maya Lesinska and Dr. Stefan Shivachev, presentation of interesting fragments of the history of the House of Public Health and the charity and a musical performance of the Home anthem.

The exhibition can be seen in the Balaban house from 1 to 30.11.2022. Admission is free. The opening hours of the Balaban house are every day from 09:00 to 17:30 (Monday - holiday).
